Hi, I’m Chris (he/him/they/them)

I’m a queer, gender non-conforming millennial with ADHD residing on the stolen lands referred to as ‘Vancouver, BC’. I’m just beginning this whole barber/hair stylist thing but I’m excited to see where it goes. I’ve always kept a hand in the arts and doing hair feels like a natural blend of that with my social beliefs and love of community. It’s early days but I’m enjoying the challenge of it all and feel excited about blending my queer-former-goth-but-still-kinda-goth-futurist vibe into my cuts as my skills grow.

When I started barbering classes I thought I would transition right into cutting but I’ve been feeling really inspired by movements and groups like @thedresscodeproject and @bigbrosbarbershop. At this point I want to focus on growing my skills in barbering so I can help contribute to more gender-diverse inclusive spaces in Vancouver and the hair industry as a whole.

TL;DR: ADHD, LGBTQ2S+, ACAB, D&D, I will unionize anything that breathes and am a pacifist with the express exception of stomping fascists.

Simple Fades and buzzcuts to shoulder length haircuts and everything in between.
Folks should expect a thorough consultation, scalp massage, shampoo, cut and natural finishing.

As I am still in the learning phase of my career, my mentor/educator might be present during our appointment to observe and provide input while I work.
